$day trading experience and late August trading

Let’s face it the last two months have been relatively easy to trade. The order flow was obvious, there was follow through and it was easy to discern the market leaders and which stocks were in play.

Now as we approach labor day let me give you some advice. Lower your share size and be picky about when you get involved. It can be very easy these last two weeks of August to give back hard fought profits. Expect follow through to be very sporadic at best.

We may have a stock here or there that is in play for the day but overall we expect it to be choppy and hard to read.

Enjoy the last two weeks of the summer, celebrate your profits, review your trading journal and fine tune your trading plan.
